Welcome to NORWEGIAN EPIC, Norwegian Cruise Line's newest, largest and most innovative cruise ship ever. This is cruising re-imagined – with exclusives like Blue Man Group appearing at sea for the first time. NCL's revolutionary NORWEGIAN EPIC is big, brassy, bold and ballsy.
With Barcelona, Spain as the starting point for this 7-day international adventure, the capital of Spain's Catalonia region is a classy, exciting, vibrant city that hosted the 1992 Summer Olympic Games. The old center of town boasts one of the greatest concentrations of Gothic architecture in Europe. But you'll find many marvels of Modernisme abound throughout the rest of the city
Then we're off to Naples, Italy!!! Naples changes dramatically from neighborhood to neighborhood, from chic to shabby, then back to chic again. But some of Italy's best shopping and dining is always at hand, including the original Neapolitan Pizza. Nearby you'll find Mt. Vesuvius, the Isle of Capri and Pompeii
Next up is Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy...bask in the glory of the city that once was the capital of the world's most powerful empire. No visit to Rome is complete without a visit to the Colosseum that stands as a reminder of the gladiator days. But be sure to visit St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican and the Pantheon, too.
We're just getting started!!! Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy is our next port of call. How lucky to visit the Tuscan region, Florence & Pisa, resplendent in art and history. What's even more fortunate is that all the main attractions in Florence are centrally located for the perfect walking tour. See Santa Croce, Piazza del Duomo and Michelangelo's David.
It doesn't stop there!!! Next it's Provence (Marseille), France. Located on the Mediterranean coast, Marseille is the oldest city in France and was founded in 600 BC. Amongst the many terracotta-roofed buildings lie many intriguing sights including the Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde. Other places well worth visiting are the city of Avignon and the quaint villages of Le Baux & Aix en Provence.
Last but not least (we save the best for last), we sail over to Palma (Majorca), Spain. Founded by the Romans some 2,100 years ago, is full of important monuments. For amazing views, travel to the Bellver Castle passing by the Paseo Maritimo, visit the less explored village of Valldemossa, or Majorca's northern coast.

THE CRUISE ITINERARY All guests booking airfare on their own can board the ship between 12:00PM and 3:00PM on Sunday. Early arrivals are highly recommended. Due to security reasons, all guests must be on board 2 hours before sailing. The ship or Perfect Reflections Travel, Simply World Class, and A Touch of Jen are NOT responsible for late arrivals. On the return home, the earliest return flight from Barcelona, Spain should be no earlier than 12:00PM. |
